Troop 234 uses a software program – TroopMaster Web (TMWeb) -- to maintain its scout/family personal information and advancement records. TM Web gives access to view advancement records (including rank and merit badge progress) and participation history without having to ask the Advancement Chair for a printout. Scouts should use this as a tool to make sure that the troop’s Advancement Chair has accurate and up-to-date information, particularly as we approach each Court of Honor during the year.

A scout’s access will be “read only,” and scouts will still have to submit their rank requirements and merit badge blue cards to the Advancement Chair for recording. Likewise, scouts will still have to schedule Scoutmaster Conferences and Boards of Review with the appropriate adult leaders, and request their Board of Review form from the Advancement Chair at least 24 hours before they have their Scoutmaster Conference and Board of Review.

In order for you to be able to access TM Web, you must first set up your personal UserID and Password. The setup is easy; just complete the following steps.

Instructions to Create Your Account:

1. Start by accessing TroopMaster Web at http://www.troopmasterweb.com/boyscouts234 or clicking on the hyperlink avove labeled Continue on to TroopMaster Web. Once on the TM Web page, you will see the password screen displayed. For your initial login, use UserID=Scout and Password=Troop234 and select the Login button.

2. On the next screen, create your own UserID (use your first name and last initial – like tomf or jackt), enter a unique Password, and then enter your name and email address. Finish by selecting the Create Account button at the bottom of the page.

3. A confirmation screen like this will be displayed showing the personal login information you created. Please print this page and save it for reference, then select the Close button.

Note: If you forget or misplace your UserID and/or Password, please email the Advancement Chair advancement@moragatroop234.org and he will forward them to you.

Using Troopmaster Web:

Once you have registered, you can access TMWeb. To begin using the program, go to TM Web as before (http://www.troopmasterweb.com/boyscouts234) and enter your personal UserID and Password on the sign-in screen. Then select one of the Login buttons: if you are logging in from a computer, select the Login button; if you are logging in using a smartphone or other mobile device, select the Mobile Login button. You will see this screen after you log in. 

From this Main Page, you will have access to the following drop-down menus:

• File – View your UserID & Password; Download troop stored documents, like the Troop Directory & Adult Roster.
• Adults – View specific merit badge counselors’ contact information.
• Activities – View access to a list of past troop activities and attendees.
• Advancement – View your advancement by Rank, Merit Badges, Special Awards
• Reports – Generate, view, and print reports, including:
  • Individual Progress Report (for your current rank)
  • Individual History Report (for your entire scout advancement history)
  • Individual Participation Report (for your participation summary)
  • Scout Roster
  • Merit Badge Counselors by each particular merit badge
• Scouts – Same information as Advancement menu
• Messaging – Email others in the troop
